I had the pleasure of eating @ Along Came A Slider and it was amazing!! Two professional chefs plus a great concept makes this a need to go to location for incredible Austin eats. I had the W D Pig and the Chicken N Waffle Sliders with a side of fries and some home-made ketchup. The pork was falling apart juicy and was on a bed of delicious jalapeno cole slaw. This was topped off with a real deal bbq sauce and it all added up to greatness. The chicken n waffle was no different. After asking one of the chefs about the carmelized onion and jalapeno syrup I found out they juice onions and jalapenos which they then turn into a caramel as the base for the sauce. This was drizzled on a perfectly crispy and juicy piece of free range chicken that had been breaded in waffle batter. The fries were cut right before my eyes and after a short fry were set next to the sliders and they handed me a side of home-made ketchup that didn't taste anything like Heinz. This was actually good ketchup. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for something unique and delicious. Very affordable.
