I had the pleasure of stopping by the Diner early one morning and as I was checking out the menu, the owner Jerry saw that I was having some trouble and asked what I would like. I said I really wanted some eggs (having slept in late that day, coffee cup still in hand). He said he could make me an egg taco which I happily accepted. It was $4.95 without meat and $5.95 with. I got it without and after talking about their move from New Mexico and starting up their new ‘Diner’ here in Austin I said goodbye and hopped into my car. As I was waiting for the traffic to clear on 1st Street I tasted the taco. WOW It was AMAZING. Full of peppers, eggs, and I think some kind of cheese. I don’t know exactly what was in there, but it was SO GOOD! And huge! So I had to turn back into the lot and go and tell them (Jerry and Kat) how amazing their food was. I have no idea what the rest of the menu is like, but I can say for sure that the breakfast taco is AWESOME and I will definitely be going back soon.

These are the best gourmet dogs I have tried in the local area. This guy has great bratts (inckuding a guiness beer bratt that is amazing, all beef dogs, kilbasa and other variety dogs, each carefully crafted with it’s own toppings including grilled jalepenos, onions, kraut, red chili, green peppers and more. Awsome dogs!
