  • Food Cart and Trailer owners, I’m working with a software vendor that is developing a mobile application to help street vendors promote their opening, closing, inventory, specials, etc. Please help us flesh this out by taking a quick survey.
  • There is a new Trailer Park eatery to open called the Longhorn Food Court. The location is where Ivory Cleaners once was at MLK Jr. Blvd. and Rio Grande, only a few blocks from the University of Texas. For more information contact Jason @ 512-300-6262
  • There is a sign up looking for new trailers at 801 Barton Springs where the Filling Station used to be. For more information contact James Cormier 512.482.4444
  • Dry Comal Creek Vineyards, just off Hwy 46 outside of New Braunfels, is looking for wine-friendly trailers on Sundays in April. Hours are Noon to 5 p.m. They will have live music in addition to the trailers. Let me know if you’re interested or know someone who might be.
  • If you happen to have a trailer for rent, please contact me. I have a chef interested in starting a trailer business and wants to rent a trailer.
  • I also having someone looking for a trailer site downtown, if you have any information on an available location, please let me know.
  • There are concerns the city may make some code changes that will make it more difficult for carts and trailers to operate in Austin. Meetings to discuss this issue with the city are as follows:

    Feb 24 2-4 Rm 1029 City Hall

Please attend if you can to help make sure we have a vibrant mobile food environment in Austin. More information here.
